Guests using the translator will be able to learn how to pronounce 90 Na’vi words using interchangeable translation cards. As the story goes, the Na’vi have no written language, so the translator will be a helpful tool for any human visiting Pandora. The four stories that are shown every night as part of the Tree of Life awakenings include “Disney Medley” (which includes Disney music), “Gift Giver” (that has a fox as the main character), “Journey” (which follows the adventures of a deer), and “Rendez-Vous” (the hummingbird story).
Some of the equipment that will be used for the show is already being installed along Caravan Road. The rest of the stories will be added throughout summer. Starting with the “Disney story” in late May, Guests walking along Caravan Road (the pathway between Africa and Asia) will get a great view as the Tree of Life comes to life each evening. To give Guests even more opportunities to enjoy the projection show, the four different stories told on the Tree of Life will soon be able to be seen on both sides of the park’s icon. The following park offerings will be available to Guests as part of the evening Extra Magic Hours: In addition to that, more attractions and shows found in other areas of the park will be operating to help disperse the crowds. During these evening Extra Magic Hours, resort Guests will be able to enjoy atmosphere, attractions, dining, and shopping of Pandora – The World of Avatar. To help Guests maximize their visit to the newest themed land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Extra Magic Hours will be offered in Pandora – The World of Avatar from 11 p.m.-1 a.m., May 27-July 4.
